Our Wedding

Our love story began on April 26, 2024—thanks to a swipe right. Yes, you can officially count this as one more successful Bumble story, something we never imagined we’d be saying!In just two years, we’ve built a life full of laughter, adventure, and memories we’ll never forget. We share a home, a dog, two cats, and honorary roommates Sarah and Millie (aka Millerton Lake, Miller Time, Milly Vanilly… the nicknames are endless).Though we’ve faced grief and challenges along the way, we’ve always come through stronger and more grateful than before. We are so excited to keep making memories together—and we can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all of our family and friends.

Jared and Logan’s bond dates back to kindergarten. Over decades of friendship, Jared has proven himself a loyal brother-in-arms who has always had Logan’s back, especially during the most challenging and toughest of times.

Michayla, my niece and junior bridesmaid, is truly one of the greatest blessings in my life. She is kind, bright, and has the most beautiful heart. My goodness, she is just so awesome, and I couldn’t imagine this day without her shining right alongside me.

Logan started out as the "young kid brother" tagging along on Brandon and Garrett’s teenage misadventures. Today, Brandon is a dear friend who has watched Logan grow from a shadow into a man in his own right.

Sarah—my roommate, my fellow Joe Burrow enthusiast, and my future wife in another life. Between game days cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals and our late-night life talks, she’s been my constant. If soulmates were decided by football loyalty alone, we’d already be married.

Tyler became one of Logan’s most esteemed friends at the start of their teaching journeys. Beyond being a great colleague, he has frequently doubled as Logan’s unofficial therapist and a pillar of wisdom.

Angela, my cousin and bridesmaid, has truly seen every version of me. From dressing up in dance costumes and forcing the family to sit through our “performances,” to the press-on Dollar Tree nail phase—she’s been there for all the Katie eras. Through every phase,  I’m so grateful she’s standing by my side.

Michael and Logan’s friendship began in high school and has only grown stronger. He is a cherished friend who has navigated the highs and lows of life right alongside Logan, offering unwavering support every step of the way.

These two strapping young nephews are Logan’s pride and joy. They’ve been entrusted with the high-stakes mission of guarding the rings and ensuring they safely reach their uncle at the altar.

My dad—yes, my dad—aka “Nerd,” has been around for 30 years. Biology? Irrelevant. Vibes? Immaculate. Commitment? Unmatched. “You da nerd, you da nerd” has been our official language, and somehow he’s still the man. Thank you being everything I have needed from a father, even though you didn't have to be.

My older brother is officiating our wedding. Growing up, he had a knack for mentally torturing me—mostly through horror movies I didn’t want to watch and creative ways of scaring me and my cousins. I was terrified at the time, but it made him a memorable part of my childhood, and it means a lot to have him be part of this day.

My nephew is one of our ushers. He’s been part of our lives since he was three, and for a long time he was my go-to buddy for anything from errands to meals out. These days he’s a teenager and a little harder to pin down, but it means a lot to have him be part of this day.

Mom and Dad,

I am so incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done for me—raising me, loving me, supporting me, and somehow putting up with me all these years (which, let’s be honest, deserves an award of its own). Thank you for always standing by my side, even during my more “learning experience” phases.

Because of you, I’ve grown into the woman I am today—and that’s a direct reflection of your love, guidance, and patience (lots and lots of patience). I truly wouldn’t be who I am without you.

I feel so lucky to have you in my life, and even more thankful that I get to share this special day with you. Don’t worry—I’ll always be your little girl… just now with a spouse and slightly better decision-making skills.
